A good day diving starts after a delicious breakfast in a cute place setting
and definitely we all had an awesome day
Our first two dives were on Manado Tua Island
Manado Tua Island is a towering extinct volcano fringed with picturesque reef drop-offs and capped with a rainforest at its summit.
The water surrounding the island is a marine sanctuary and has at least five famous dive sites –we dove Negeri and Muka Gereja
Muka Gereja is where we first descended for a wall dive. The unspoiled site is home to numerous and huge barrel corals, gorgonians, groupers, trumpet fish . The visibility was great and we stayed at a maximum depth of 30 meters. We tried in a figurative way, of course, to leave no stone unturned. We ascended reluctantly. The dive was just fascinating.
After an hour of surface interval, tea/coffee time, we had our second dive at Negeri. The site has also a wall with a lot of huge and colorful soft corals. The headline for this dive is surely “Oversize pufferfish and Silvertip Shark”
Note…we can’t be unfair and forget about this amazing garden reef
Trust that dive the Bunaken Park is not just a rumor: it is wonderful
